Frame / pre-plaster inspection is the step just after the completion of wall and room framing. In case if the building is multiple stories, then the garage area or other lower areas are not required to be finished at the frame stage. Inspectors must be providing inspection-related services at this stage to unleash and point out defects.
For the frame inspection stage, inspection components may include:
- Concrete thickness and level examination, cracking check, extra hangings, or exposed frames/metallic structures.
- All dimensions of wall framing
- Doors and windows check
- Neem and brackets checking
- Floor bed and proper compactions
- Ceiling and roof trusses
- Plaster, bricks, and plaster checking
- Adherence to Australian construction standards and building code.
